Coaching and co-investment

You’ve recognised the commercial potential of an invention and are wondering if it is worth founding a new company? Or perhaps you already have a definite business idea and are looking for a sparring partner to give your project the once over and help you get started? We take care of market research, help develop your business plan, advise you on company form and structuring, negotiate licences for any technologies you may require, and use our network of contacts to find investors for initial financing. We are also there to help in the growth phase, and sometimes sit on the advisory board and/or become co-investors in subsequent financing rounds.

We are flexible with regard to conditions: we support and advise in return for a fee, for shares in the company or a mixture of both. In the case of spin-offs from our partner institutes, the profit from subsequent sale of our company equity flows to the Life-Science Foundation for the benefit of public research.
