Ascenion to support the valorization of EU-funded life-science research

This January, the UTILE project was launched under the European H2020 Research and Innovation Program. It is designed to help commercialize the results from EU-funded health-related research projects by creating an online market place that brings together ‘innovation providers’ and ‘innovation developers’. Coordinated by PNO consultants, 11 partners will work together to:

  • evaluate all completed FP7 Health and H2020 SC1 projects,
  • implement the online UTILE marketplace,
  • develop innovation and support business strategy,
  • compile health-sector related recommendations for the European Commission.

Together with three other leading European technology transfer organizations (TTOs), Ascenion will perform the evaluation of research results according to their IP situation, market prospects and development potential. The other TTOs: Bergen Teknologioverføring (Norway), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), and the Medical Research Council Technology (UK).
