At the end of last year, Christian Stein was elected to the Board of Directors of TechnologieAllianz, the German Association for knowledge and technology transfer, and is now responsible for international cooperation and events.
Focusing on promoting the development and dissemination of professional standards for technology transfer, TechnologieAllianz will work together closely with the European association ASTP-Proton, to align the professional standards of the RTTP (Registered Technology Transfer Professional) established by the global association ATTP (Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals).
In 2017, TechnologieAllianz will prioritize the training of technology transfer managers. This year, for example, about ten full-day training courses will be held by members for members. At the same time, planning for the Annual Conference 2018 which will focus on accelerating innovation through startups is in full swing.
TechnologieAllianz has set ambitious targets for the coming years. In order to achieve more impact and to better represent German technology transfer, they are planning to double the number of members from currently more than 50 members to at least 100.
