BioVaria
Where science and industry meet
Each year, BioVaria brings together leading figures from European science, technology and industry for two interactive days in Munich. Their common goal: to initiate partnerships that transfer particularly promising projects from European academic life-science research into application: new diagnositic and therapeutic approaches as well as platform technologies.
BioVaria’s Startup Pitch & Partner programme offers a forum specifically for entrepreneurs, including speed dating with numerous venture capitalists and the BioVaria Startup Award for the best pitch.
The Early Stage Innovations Program, established in 2022, gives scientists the opportunity to present ideas at a very early stage and gain initial experience and contacts in the conference environment.
BioVaria was launched by Ascenion in 2008, initially as a national showcasing event. It has since become Europe’s leading platform for marketing innovative therapeutic, diagnostic and technological approaches emanating from academic research. Many projects are presented for the first time to a larger audience at the meeting. Just one reason why BioVaria is now a fixed date in the calendars of many decision makers.
