The German Bioregions will be awarding their Innovation Prize for the ninth time. They are looking for application-oriented patents in the fields of biotechnology or medical technology with particularly high commercial potential. Eligible are scientists who:
- work at a university or a public research institute,
- hold or have submitted a patent with potential exciting applications,
- have not yet founded a company (companies in the process of being founded are allowed).
The prize will be awarded during the Deutsche Biotechnologietage in April 2016. The winners can therefore expect a high degree of exposure both in the biotech sector and in the media, as well as prize money of EUR 2,000 each.
Ascenion is actively supporting the competition. Scientists from our partner institutes have been among the prizewinners on a number of previous occasions. Interested? We’re happy to support you!
The deadline for entries is 15 February 2016.
