There was a lot going on in our otherwise rather quiet offices in Munich-Schwabing! Ascenion’s 15th Knowledge and Technology Transfer Workshop took place on 21–22 January. This year’s agenda once again featured exciting topics at the cutting edge: the latest on the unitary patent, insights into venture builders, and important regulations for AI systems from research institutions. There were also sessions on financing and the treatment of assets in insolvency and liquidation proceedings.
The participants, who work in technology transfer at Ascenion’s partner institutes, universities and clinics, took advantage of the informal setting to engage in discussions and a lively exchange of experiences. As is tradition, this continued into the evening over dinner.
