ASTP-Proton supports Falling Walls Ventures

Projects and ideas that will change our world – this is what the Falling Walls conference is all about. Each year, the meeting brings together the brightest minds in business, politics and research. Academic technology transfer has been supporting the event since 2013: both the European technology transfer association ASTP-Proton and its worldwide counterpart, the ATTP, are partners of the Falling Walls Venture Forum. A distinguished jury, including members of both associations, selects the world’s most innovative start-ups. This year’s winners are:

  • EyeTechCare, Rillieux la Pape, France: Glaucoma therapy
  • GeneQuine Biotherapeutics, Hamburg, Germany: Therapies for arthritis
  • SynVaccine, Tel Aviv, Israel: Development of synthetic vaccines

Technology transfer associations, academic institutions and venture capitalists investing in particularly promising start-ups should already be putting the Falling Walls Venture Forum 2015 in their diaries: start-up nomination will be opening soon.
