End of August, the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) has released a summary of key figures on technology transfer in the US. Accordingly, the 186 institutions participating in the survey achieved USD 2.5 billion income from technology transfer, executed 4,899 licenses and formed 671 start-ups in the fiscal year 2011.
