Leading figures from industry, technology transfer, science and the start-up scene are looking forward to meeting potential licensees and investors from the biotech and pharmaceutical industry during BioVaria 2024, on 29 and 30 April at the Sofitel Munich. The interactive program focuses every year on outstanding development and start-up projects from European research institutes, universities and university hospitals, as well as comprehensive networking.
A total of around 70 selected licensable life-science technologies will be presented, about 30 of them in oral sessions. They include new therapeutical and diagnostic approaches as well as innovative platform technologies. Moreover, projects in the early stages of development will be presented in a dedicated session, including projects from Ascenion's Life Science Digital Hub, which is supported by GO-Bio initial.
The Startup Pitch & Partner programme has been an integral part of BioVaria for years. It features selected start-ups who will pitch their projects live on stage with the chance to win one of two BioVaria Awards, endowed with up to EUR 2,000. In addition, the teams have the opportunity to provide investors with a deeper understanding of their idea in an exclusive speed-dating session. Start-ups interested in participating may apply online by 15 February.
BioVaria is jointly organised by Ascenion and a selected group of European technology transfer organisations.
