Have you ever met an ‘RTTP’? If not, this could change soon. Ascenion, for instance, now has three of them: Esther Lange, Sigrid Scheek and Christian Stein. All three were designed RTTP (‘Registered Technology Transfer Professional’) status under the recognition programme recently launched by the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP). The overall objective of the programme is to increase the recognition of technology transfer as a profession and establish credibility within the industry by instituting uniform means of practice, standards, and accreditation.
