Expansion of customer base

Three further research institutes have decided to enter into partnership with Ascenion in recent months. This brings the number of long-term partner institutes and associated organisations supported by Ascenion to a total of 30, including institutes of the Helmholtz and Leibniz Associations, universities and university clinics, as well as various other life-science oriented organizations.

The new partners are:

  • iba Heiligenstadt – Institute for Bioprocessing and Analytical Measurement Techniques e. V. (iba)
    The iba is a non-university research institute sponsored by the Free State of Thuringia. Its application-oriented scientific focus is on examining and changing interfaces between biological and technical components of functional systems for the life sciences.

  • IMB Mainz – Institute of Molecular Biology gGmbH (IMB)
    The IMB is a centre of excellence funded by the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation. Its research covers three key areas: developmental biology, epigenetics and DNA repair.

  • ZMT Bremen – Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research
    The ZMT is a Leibniz Association institute. Its aim is to analyse tropical coastal ecosystems in all their complexity and to create a scientific database to support their protection and sustainable use.
