Project ideas for the 6th selection round may be submitted until 15 July 2013. The GO-Bio competition is a funding initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It targets research teams in the life sciences interested in advancing technically demanding ideas into viable start-ups. Of the 39 projects supported to date, 19 have resulted in start-ups, with further ones expected.
