Genomatix, the Munich-based bioinformatics company has been awarded the "INDUSTRIEPREIS 2012" in the biotechnology category at the Hannover Messe trade show for its "Genomatix Genome Analyzer" (GGA). The GGA is an innovative platform for the analysis, visualization and interpretation of next-generation sequencing data. The jury has therefore not merely rewarded data collection per se, but rather its meaningful interpretation as the basis for useful applications.
