Together with leading European technology transfer organizations, Ascenion will support the ENTENTE professional exchange program as a host company. Young technology transfer professionals working for universities, public research organizations or hospitals all over Europe will have the opportunity to join Ascenion’s team for six weeks and learn directly from experienced technology managers. ‘The willingness of the hosting organizations to share knowledge, expertise and time is an example of true professionalism and reinforces our joint desire to move healthcare forward,’ comments Karine Baudin, Coordinator of ENTENTE. The program is also open to other professionals with an interest in knowledge transfer, e.g. from academia or industry.
Ascenion’s endorsement of the ENTENTE program is part of its strategy to improve technology transfer standards around the globe. Over recent years, the team has already trained a number of technology transfer professionals (to-be) from Asia, Latin America and Europe. In addition, Ascenion actively supports the professionalization of technology transfer as member of the ASTP (Association of European Science & Technology Transfer Professionals).
