Two experienced professionals joined Ascenion this April:
Natascha Reinert joined Ascenion’s team in Munich as accountant and controller at the beginning of April. Born in the Netherlands, she has spent her almost twenty years of education and professional experience in Bavaria. She holds a diploma in nutrition technology and a master of business administration from the ‘Bayerische Akademie für Außenwirtschaft’. Her professional career includes positions in accounting and controlling with an online media portal and an international publishing group.
Torsten Stachelhaus has just started as technology manager in Hamburg. He has over 15 years’ experience in life-science research, industrial drug discovery and technology transfer, with a particular focus in the field of spin-off support. After completing his PhD in biochemistry, he held a post-doc position at the Harvard Medical School and was head of an independent research group at the University of Marburg before he took over the role of Chief Scientific Officer with a US start-up focused on drug discovery. He then returned to Germany, initially as technology manager with IP-Bewertungs AG, an IP asset management service partner to Deutsche Bank, and most recently as independent IP asset management consultant to the life-sciences industry.
