Most recently, Sunčana worked as Senior Business Development Manager at Minaris Advanced Therapies, a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for cell and gene therapies. She supported the management with market and competitive analyses as well as technology assessments and was responsible for client acquisition. Prior to that, she worked for many years as project manager for preclinical projects and as clinical trial manager.
Sunčana’s industry experience is underpinned by a solid scientific background. She supplemented her degree in molecular biology in Zagreb with a PhD in cell biology, followed by work as a postdoctoral researcher and group leader at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
‘In technology transfer, I am now closer to innovation and science again and can put what I have learnt in industry into practice,’ says Sunčana, delighted with her new role at Ascenion.
