This year’s focus was on the standard conditions for spin-offs that Ascenion has developed together with Charité, and the challenges of exploiting software-based inventions. Other fascinating topics included dealing with insolvent licensing partners and ‘the DNA’ of MTAs and CDAs. The participants contributed numerous case studies from their own institutes, which led to lively and valuable debates. In addition to intensive technical discussions, there were extensive breaks and a joint dinner to share experiences and advice, and get to know each other better.
Ascenion organises the workshop every year exclusively for colleagues from their partner institutes, universities and clinics.
