The current COVID-19 pandemic has drastically made us aware of how inadequate the present precautions are against infections transmitted by droplets and aerosols. Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung wants to encourage the development of more efficient protective strategies, materials and measures, and is awarding up to 1 million euros for projects bearing relevance to practical application which deal with new and further development, as well as with interaction formats.
