In March 2023, 28 technology transfer professionals from all over Germany and Austria came together in Munich for two days to share their experience and learn about the latest developments in the fields of patent law, licensing and spin-off support. The program was packed with information and practical advice, with topics covering licensing terms, the unitary patent, potential strings attached to grants and various types of equity agreements. In addition, the CARMA fund, a new funding instrument for project development and start-ups was introduced. Participants actively engaged in the discussions and very much enjoyed the opportunity to share experience in person, after the two-year break due to Corona.
