The same high standard in a fresh format: BioVaria is switching completely over to digital this year. From the 26 to 28 April 2021, European scientists, clinicians and entrepreneurs will come together with international business developers and investors in the life-science sector to discuss the latest trends and developments in innovation and technology transfer. With 75 technologies on offer, this BioVaria will present its largest ever repertoire of life-science and biomedical inventions.
Encouragingly, three further European technology transfer organisations have come on board this year. Particular areas of focus are in the fields of neurodegenerative disease, infection and oncology. BioVaria’s popular interactive format will of course be retained in this digital event, with networking sessions offering plenty of opportunities for intensive personal and professional exchanges between research and industry.
As in the live event, entrepreneurs and investors will also come together during the Startup Pitch & Partner module. Previously selected start-ups will be given the opportunity to convince investors with their business model in live pitches. A jury of investors will announce the best ‘Emerging Startup’ and ‘Rising Startup’ as winners of the BioVaria Awards on the last day of the meeting.
