Heidi brings over 20 years’ experience in life-science research to the team. She has worked at several renowned research institutes, including the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM) at Oxford University, and has published more than 20 scientific papers in the field of drug research and immunology. Heidi acquired her management skills as research associate and project manager at the University of Bonn, and in two German start-up companies where she was successful in setting up new business units.
Heidi studied chemistry and biochemistry, and completed her PhD at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry in Halle (Saale).
