Mass spectrometry is a crucial tool in proteomics, generating vast amounts of data that are difficult to interpret due to their inherent complexity. DIA-NN 2.0 overcomes these challenges by leveraging artificial intelligence to filter noise, accurately identify proteins, and provide reliable quantification. It is the result of pioneering research of Vadim Demichev and his team, the MSTARS Quantitative Proteomics laboratory at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
In addition to the academic version, Aptila has now introduced DIA-NN 2.0 Enterprise designed for pharma and biotech companies. Meeting strong market demand, it has already attracted key industry players, including Bruker Daltonics.
A free version of DIA-NN 2.0 is available for academic research, ensuring broad accessibility within the scientific community.
Ascenion, technology transfer partner of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, has facilitated the negotiation of the licence agreement between Aptila and the institution, and holds equity in the new venture.
