Founded in 2018 as a spin-off from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin by Dr Paul Jahnke and Dr Felix Schwarz, PhantomX builds on over a decade of research, development and engineering. With the acquisition by IBA (Ion Beam Applications), this innovation becomes part of the international portfolio of a leading provider of dosimetry and imaging solutions. Together, the teams are ideally positioned to accelerate innovation in medical imaging through simulation and AI-driven technologies, creating added value for clinicians and patients worldwide.
As technology transfer partner of the Charité, Ascenion has supported PhantomX from the early concept phase through its successful spin-off formation.
