Biotech NetWorkshop – Where founders, experts and investors meet

Around thirty startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs met in Munich during this year’s Biotech NetWorkshop to learn from drug development experts and discuss strategies for bringing innovative therapies to the market. This year Ascenion and Max Planck Innovation welcomed attendees and speakers from over seven European countries and ten leading life-science VC firms joined the event for the evening reception. In addition to the interactive talks, the workshop participants had excellent networking opportunities over the two-day program. In particular the reception kicked off with Professor of Life Sciences Law and Ethics Nils Hoppe’s outstanding and thought-provoking keynote, followed by the rooftop party with spectacular views over the city and the chance to mingle in a laid-back and fun atmosphere.

'I found the Biotech NetWorkshop to be extremely helpful in learning about the different facets of the biotech industry, including its regulatory aspects. I have made several great connections and I am very much looking forward to the next meeting,' says Dr Yuval Rinkevich, Head, Research Group - Cellular Therapeutics in Chronic Lung Disease - Helmholtz Zentrum München.

The next Biotech NetWorkshop will take place from 31 January – 2 February 2018 at Schloss Ringberg. More information on the program will be available later this year at www.biotech-networkshop.de.
