During her PhD thesis at the Robert-Koch Institute, she delved into the field of patenting and technology transfer when evaluating the societal and commercial potential of her own work in the fields of parasitology, metabolomics and imaging technology. ‘I think the translation of scientific results is an exciting, highly relevant and frequently underestimated aspect of research. I’m really looking forward to working at the intersection of science and business, together with the Ascenion team,’ Céline says.
Before moving to the RKI, she studied medical biotechnology at the TU Berlin and did her master’s degree at the Charité.
